The representative buildings throughout the Austrian Empire were painted in a yellow, to become known since the baroque period as the “Imperial Yellow”. Our grand tour through Austria will include visits to major sites, castles and cities that feature highlights of this imperial architecture. Hence, also all major cities and regions of Austria will be visited.
